{Leo loving life at Mildred’s in Soho}

It’s been a while since there’s been an interview on Win Friends With Salad (January to be precise!), so I thought what better way to kick off another round of Vegan Interviews than a chat with my favourite Little Vegan, my 5 year old nephew Leo!

Name: Leo | Age: 5 and a half

What’s your favourite animal and why?

Cheetah! Because it goes super fast!

When did you go Vegan?

Christmas. {Leo stopped eating animals in August 2016, age 4, when he found out meat was animals. Dairy was slowly phased out when he learnt about the dairy industry and he made the switch to Vegan on Boxing Day (it was entirely his choice, he went fully vegan once he’d finished his non Vegan chocolate stash)}

How do you feel when people eat animals?

Is that why you stopped eating animals?

What’s your favourite Breakfast?

What do you like on your porridge?

Almonds, Almond Butter, Bananas, Blueberries.

What’s your favourite packed lunch?

What type of sandwich?

Jam! And Almond Butter.

Anything on the side?

With any dips?

Anything to dip the carrots in? Like maybe hummus?

Favourite Dinner?

Sausage rolls!!

Anything else?

Spaghetti! And meatballs! {Leo’s Mum’s homemade vegan meatballs no less}

Anything else?

Fish Fingers! {Quorn, of course} with Chips and Peas. Pizza!

How about pudding?

Are there any other Vegans at your school?

Are there any Vegetarians?

Yes. Just Joe.

Who invented hummus?

Mr Hummus! {his Uncle has taught him this but Leo hasn’t learnt to fact check things his Uncle tells him}

What’s your favourite restaurant?

Because it has ice cream!

Do you like their stickers?

Pizza! I like their pizza! {Leo loves the Zizzi stickers! Once a member of staff gave him a whole roll and he was so happy!}

What’s your favourite pizza topping?

Cheese! {Minimalist Baker’s homemade Parmesan to be precise}

Do you like pineapple on a pizza?

Would you like anyone else to go Vegan?

My best friend at school and Nanny.

Leo will be back on the blog very soon! He has a lot he wants to share, so stay tuned!

    THIS is THE cutest. I hope Leo grows up to be a vegan super hero and follow in the footsteps of the world’s first vegans that have obviously inspired him so much! x

      He is such a sweetheart, hopefully he will start cooking soon too! We’re all very excited to see what he grows up to be! Sadly my Sister broke the news to him that me & Tom weren’t in fact the world’s first vegans 🙁 xx
