Lola’s Cupcakes have been serving up Vegan cupcake realness since 2014 and I had absolutely no idea until last month! I can’t remember who I saw Instagram one but I almost couldn’t believe my eyes! Why aren’t more Vegans talking about this!?!?
They have 19 locations across London, brace yourself for a list of all of them – Blackfriars Tube, High Street Kensington Tube, Selfridges, Bluewater (not technically London I know, soz), Kings Cross Tube, Spitalfields Market, Brent Cross, London City Airport, Topshop Oxford Circus, Canary Wharf, Marylebone, Victoria, Cannon Street Tube, Mayfair, Waterloo Tube, Chancery Lane Tube, Picadilly Circus Tube, Westfield Shepherds Bush ad Covent Garden. WHAM! Hopefully one of those is near you because their Vegan cupcakes are VERY GOOD and you should get one.
They currently have 4 vegan flavours – chocolate, coconut/passion fruit, lemon/raspberry and coconut/strawberry. In the very top picture that’s the two columns on the far left. FOUR OPTIONS!!! How brilliant is that!? You can even pre-order whole vegan cakes through their through their website.
I went for chocolate and I got my friend Jo a coconut & passion fruit one, we ate them at our desks for breakfast one morning as there is no better way to start your day. That’s just science.
The chocolate cupcake was pretty decadent, it was rich but not sickly and the frosting was AMAZING!
I really enjoyed my first vegan trip to Lola’s Cupcakes and I will definitely be picking up another one next time I pass by a branch. It’s so great to see vegan options available on the High Street!
Tried the #Vegan Cupcakes @lolas_cupcakes this week and they are good! I had the chocolate (obvs) and @joinwonderland had pomegranate. We would both recommend to a friend ??✨ #veganjunkfood #kingscross #veganlondon #vegancake #cake #vegandessert #cupcake #abmlifeissweet #dairyfree #eggfree #vegansofig #winfriendswithsalad *the 2 columns far left are the vegan options, they also had lemon or raspberry*
