Ocado is my favourite place as a Vegan to shop for groceries. They have the best Vegan brands, the most choice and when you type Vegan in the search box Vegan things actually come up (on Tesco etc if you type vegan in stuff like apples and peas come up!!).
I’ve wanted to write this post for a while, it’s one of the first tips I give to anyone when they ask me about going Vegan (in fact I’ve literally copy and pasted this from what I sent to my Sister when she went Vegan) and with Veganuary coming up I thought I best get this out there!
* Also regarding Veganuary, if you want any advice or tips or help etc. please give me a shout on here (contact tab), on IG or on Twitter and I will be honoured to help *
V BITES FACON (facon = fake bacon) – link here
The greatest Vegan bacon is by a brand called V Bites. V Bites are a great little brand and you can also find them stocked in Holland and Barratt and they are quite often on offer. They also do pretty nice sausages, a fillet of fish in breadcrumbs etc.
We cook ours up pretty high in a decent amount of oil only turning once – you want it crispy, trust me. Chucked in a baguette with lashings of vitalite and tomatoes and ketchup or brown sauce, this stuff is amazing! This brand also has their own café down in Brighton ~ how cool is that?!
LINDA MCCARTNEY SAUSAGES – link here
Linda is the Sausage Queen. You get 6 in a pack and you cook straight from frozen. Batter them for bonus points. Bosh!
CHIKN BURGERS – link here
The greatest brand ever is Fry’s Family. Think of them as a classy (and Vegan) version of Quorn (most Quorn products contain eggs and milk). They are often on offer of 3 for 2 or 33% off).
CHIKN NUGGETS – link here
Fry’s Family again! Their chikn nuggets are brilliant.
CHIKN SCHNITZEL – sold out at the time I write this so I can’t link here
Fry’s Family! LOVE these as the ‘meat’ in a roast dinner smothered in apple sauce, in a loaded bagel or chopped up small in some tomatoey/lemony tagliatelle.
BATTERED PRAUNS – link here
Fry’s Family again! Woo! Love these! I usually have mine in a wrap with praun cocktail sauce (Mayo, ketchup and paprika), iceberg lettuce, tomato and avo. Lush.

“BEEF” BURGERS – link here
Can you guess which brand makes my favourite beef style burger? It’s Fry’s! We love to have two of these per bun because we are rock stars.

MONTEZUMA – link here
The dark chocolate are my favourite, they aren’t as harsh tasting as dark chocolate can be, it’s almost as though they are just rich milk chocolate. Sometimes I chuck some on an Alpro chocolate pudding or in a pain au chocolat.
DOISY & DAM – link here
Bit pricy but you’re worth it.
BOOJA BOOJA – link here
Very pricy but they’re the best and again you’re worth it, babe.

You can store in the fridge or in the cupboard so when they’re on offer you could buy lots and keep some in fridge for eating right away and some in cupboard to re-stock fridge once fridge running low
