WHAT I ATE IN A DAY #3

Yet another What I Ate In A Day born from photographing my breakfast but this time it’s less unusual as it’s the weekend as I write this and weekends are made for cooked breakfasts and brunches and lie in’s and relaxation and not rolling out of bed and trudging to work.

BREAKFAST

LUNCH

Tom made Mildred’s Brownies at the request of my Mum who was visiting this morning. He tailored the usual recipe to use chocolate spread and extra chocolate in place of the usual peanut butter because we didn’t have any and our local shop didn’t either. The great peanut butter shortage of Hampstead, April 2016.

Mum took some brownies round to my Sister‘s house and my Nephew Leo declared “I’m enjoying these too much!” as he munched on a piece! Isn’t that the cutest!?

DINNER

Tom made up an Indian FEAST.

Top left – potatoes, peas, spinach

Top right – rice, coconut milk, roasted tomatoes, garam masala

Bottom centre – onion bhajis
