This week saw the opening of a very exciting new ice cream parlour. Yorica! on Wardour Street in Soho is entirely allergen-free; you won’t find any dairy, gluten, nuts or eggs in any of the ice creams, frozen yoghurts, milkshakes, or in any of the numerous toppings on offer.

I spoke to the Founder and he said the inspiration for opening a Free From ice cream parlour is that everyone should be able to have ice cream and he wanted to make a place where people with allergens could come and not have to ask or worry about eating something which will make them unwell.

The ice cream itself is made of a mixture of rice milk & coconut cream and the 12 flavours on offer include chocolate, cookies, moringa, blackcurrant, nut-free peanut butter, strawberry, dark chocolate beetroot and mango. I had a mix of chocolate and moringa, as well as trying every flavour my friends got as well.

The ice cream is the most delicious I have ever tasted and I’m already eagerly planning my next visit.

Yorica! is located at 130 Wardour Street and are open 10am till midnight Friday & Saturday and the rest of the week 10am till 11pm.
